Room Type: Computer Lab
Room Capacity: 41 computers (40 PCs and 1 instructor PC)
Room Suitability: Great choice for labs or advising sessions.
Hours of Operation:
Monday – Friday: 8:30am - 9:00pm
Saturday – Sunday: 8:30am - 6:00pm
Please note:
- For technical support outside business hours (8am - 4:30pm), please contact Classroom Operation at 416-736-5800. For more information, please visit this website.
- For our technology labs (HNES 253 and HNES 258), if you find the main door closed during operational hours, please enter the room by the rear door (the one without keypad)
- This lab is for use by current EUC students, faculty and staff only. Faculty and staff can organize access for guests by emailing euccomp@yorku.ca.
Room Status
- Crestron system is not working. We have contacted UIT team for repair.
- Please use the projector remote control in the lockbox to turn on the projector while we fix the Crestron.
- Drop-ins available

Overview
Please note:- Any classroom with a built in PC requires a Passport York account to log in.
- Instructions for using equipment are listed in all rooms.
- Personal laptops can be connected through VGA (no HDMI).
- User must bring their own adapter if the laptop (e.g. MacBook) does not have a VGA or HMDI connection.
- Additional equipment and training sessions are available upon request via email at euccomp@yorku.ca.
- If the front door is not open, during our hours of operation, you can use the back door to enter the room.

To accommodate large meeting, EUC Technology Services maintains a small cache of Meeting Owl 3 audiovisual equipment for loan.
The Meeting Owl 3 is designed to enhance hybrid meetings by integrating a 360-degree camera, microphone, and speaker into one device. This technology aims to create a more immersive meeting environment by automatically focusing on the speaker, which fosters a natural interaction among participants. The device supports popular video conferencing platforms like Zoom, Microsoft Teams, and Google Meet, making it versatile for different communication needs.

The code to open this lockbox is common with the code to unlock the Crestron system - followed by * symbol.
Please lock any items used back in the box at the end of every class.
