Program: Sustainable Environmental Management (BES)
Year of study: 3 year
Office Hours: Tuesday, 10:30am-11:30am
High school or other academic institutions attended: SNDT College of Home Science
Reason for choosing program: I have always been interested in science-related subjects such as environment and biology. As we live on this land, there come inherent responsibilities that we all should fulfill to protect our land and its inhabitants. In this urbanizing world, I aim to learn science and save the environment by doing my part which is achieving a balance between the planet and its community. Sustainable Environmental Management program has been the guiding light for me that leads me to be a professional eco-entrepreneur. This will make my vision come true to have perfect harmony between the environment, society, and technology by expanding my family tradition that associates with having a union between Science, Environment, and Society. The program is widening my horizon in the sphere of Environment and Sustainability by inculcating the prerequisite skills for a sustainable future.
Intentions for the future: I aim to contribute towards the betterment of our environment and society by establishing myself as a successful sustainable food entrepreneur. I aspire to create an eco-friendly restaurant that embodies sustainable practices. As an eco-chef, I want to use my culinary skills to promote sustainable living and work towards achieving Zero Hunger. To accomplish this, I am determined to explore innovative and sustainable alternatives for energy consumption, food wastage, and water contamination. My goal is to leave a positive impact on the environment and make the world a better place.
Favourite part of the program: Sustainable Environmental Management program introduces a wide range of concepts every day that are both diverse and interconnected at the same time. We not only learn about the present circumstances but also about how we can comprehend the past and move forward to make a viable future. The broad spectrum of knowledge that our professors bring in for us, aids us in achieving a better understanding of how we can prepare ourselves to make a significant impact on society. The friendly and supportive community in the program and at EUC has significantly enhanced my university experience.
