Reason for choosing program: At first I didn’t know I wanted to focus on Geography (I started as an undeclared major) but talking different first-year Geography courses, I enjoyed them and thought I would have it serve as my teachable for Education. Being in this program, however, has really sparked a passion in me as I enjoy learning about different social issues around the world and how these connections and interactions shape the world we live in.

Intentions for the future: When I finish my Geography degree, I will be pursuing my Bachelor of Education degree to teach the Junior/Intermediate division (grades 4-10) in the Concurrent Education program. Taking the knowledge I am learning from my program I feel can really understand that all people (children) come from different social and economic situations, no matter how close they live and it is important that they all voices be heard.

Favourite part of the program: : I like how diverse this program is and the may opportunities that are offered in the program.
