Certificate in Climate Solutions and Sustainable Energy
Explore and gain applied skills to respond to the climate crisis through sustainable energy solutions. The Certificate in Climate Solutions and Sustainable Energy includes training in energy efficiency, renewable and distributed energy resources and community energy and climate change planning.
Certificate in Geomatics: Geographic Information Systems and Remote Sensing
The Geomatics Certificate combines the study and immersion within the major developments experienced in geographical information science, geographic information systems, remote sensing, photogrammetry, and global positioning systems by linking theories and science to experiences that intersect hardware, software, equipment, algorithms, and techniques.
EUC’s 3+2 Degree Pathways
The EUC 3+2 pathways link together 3 years of undergraduate study in Cities, Regions, Planning (BES), Environmental Arts & Justice (BES), Global Geography (BA) or Sustainable Environmental Management (BES) with two years of graduate study in the Master in Environmental Studies (MES) program.
NEW! Pathways to the Master of Management (MMgt) – Your EUC Degree + 1-year at the Schulich School of Business
In partnership with the Schulich School of Business, EUC is excited to announce the launch of the Pathway to Master of Management (MMgt) providing high achieving students the opportunity to link their fourth year EUC degree program to a one-year MMgt degree, growing their knowledge to open doors for new career opportunities post-graduation. Eligible for ALL degree programs offered by EUC.
Direct Entry BEd
Complete two university degrees at the same time in order to become a qualified teacher in Ontario. To be considered for the Concurrent BEd program students must be admitted to and eligible to continue in one of our programs: Cities, Regions, Planning (BES), Environmental Arts & Justice (BES), Environmental Science (BSc), Global Geography (BA) or Sustainable Environmental Management (BES)
Double Majors & Minors
In any one of our programs, you will be able to select between majors or minors offered in EUC to create a unique program to meet your future professional plans. You also have the opportunity to consider majors or minors from outside EUC in other York U Faculties, such as, AMPD, Health, LA&PS and Science. Prerequisites apply to some majors and minors.
