The Integrated Year One Undergraduate Program (IYOUP) is a new initiative for applicants who don’t yet meet the language proficiency requirements for their academic program. It has been specifically designed to support students entering their first year of undergraduate studies who want to improve their English language skills while learning about Canadian culture. The IYOUP offers an admission pathway to students who meet the academic requirements for admission to an undergraduate program with an IELTS score between 5.5 and 6.0 (or equivalent).
This program is delivered in partnership with The York University English Language Institute and EUC. Students will work towards completing 24 credits while enjoying an authentic university learning experience. They will engage with the general York student body, enjoy the vibrant campus culture and take specialized language courses.
