Description

An internship is a workplace-based experience that integrates the relationship between academic knowledge and its functional application within the environmental sector related to students’ field of study and vocational development. Students obtain professional competence in a variety of areas non-limited to the application of environmental policy formulation, data collection, oplanning and geographic information systems.

  • GIS internship for land use mapping
  • Policy internship for environmental policy development and regulation
  • Consulting internship to develop strategies for resilience planning

Faculty Involvement

EUC faculty members serve as facilitators that help connect students with environmental organizations, provide academic oversite and help link internship tasks with relevant learning outcomes.

Partner Involvement

Provide meaningful internships, assign real-world tasks and help support skills development and performance reviews..
