Community Partnered Education
Description
Students become immersed in organizational partnership engagement learning for the purpose of environmental career development by integrating theoretical and practical knowledge into applicable processes. This type of experience is based on real-world engagement and pressing issues facing local communities and organizations. Partnerships may involve non-profit organizations, government agencies or local community groups.

- Urban green space generation to promote sustainability
- Climate action planning
- Design waste management reduction strategies to reduce pollution
- Support urban eco-farming to offset local food system shortages
Faculty Involvement
EUC faculty members serve to facilitate connections between students and partners while also providing mentorship and reflection components.
Partner Involvement
Define project scopes and deliverables, mentor students in project implementation and provide feedback and community engagement.
