Abroad Learning
Description
Students obtain the opportunity to apply their classroom knowledge in an international setting by engaging with diverse communities, landscapes, cultures, ecosystems and pressing environmental challenges outside of Canadian contexts to facilitate practical career-based solutions. Students may accomplish this through a research placement at one of the faculty of Environmental and Urban changes Eco Campus’s in southern Costa Rica such as Las Nubes Project or through an international academic internship.

Faculty Involvement
EUC faculty members serve as facilitators that build and maintain relationships with international partners and ensure students are engaging academically. Faculty members will also act as supervisors who promote cross-cultural learning with newly engaging global environmental perspectives.
Partner Involvement
Host students internationally, offer community-based projects and mentor students in global environmental practices.
