The Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change is dedicated to fostering a partnership with Industry partners interested in hiring our students.  

Working with the EUC Faculty and recruiting our students is a great investment in your business. We offer many opportunities and formats in which you can recruit top talents.

Students gain hands-on experience in the field, while employers benefit from having extra staff available to help meet deadlines and complete projects. Co-op students can work up to 12 months and internship students can work for up to 16 months.

Hiring students is a great way for employers to screen for future full-time employees. Employers can determine over the course of the co-op/internship if a student's skills and experience are a good fit with the orgarnization

Organizations from various sectors, including non-profits, government agencies, businesses, and community groups, are welcome to become partners. We look for partners who can provide meaningful, career-related experiences that align with our students’ academic programs and career aspirations. 

To express your interest, simply fill out the Interest Form available on our website. Provide details about your organization and your interest in partnering with our EE program. Our EE Coordinator will review your submission and contact you to discuss the next steps. 

  • Placements: Short-term work experiences related to a student’s field of study. 
  • Co-op Placements: Longer-term work placements that integrate with a student’s academic schedule. 
  • Workshops and Guest Speaking: Facilitate a learning opportunity in your area of expertise
  • Community Projects: Partnerships focused on community engagement and development projects. 

Yes, partners can engage in multiple types of partnerships simultaneously or sequentially. For example, an organization might offer both internships and co-op placements or participate in research collaborations and community projects.
