What You Can Do on Experience York

Setting Up Your Student Profile

Step 1: Accessing Experience York

Login

Visit Experience York and login using your student credentials.

Navigate to the “My Account” section.

Once logged in, find and click on the “My Account” section. This is where you will manage and edit your profile information.

Step 2: Setting Up Your Profile

Personal Information

Update your personal details including your full name, contact information, preferred email, preferred name, and more.

Link your LinkedIn account

Press “Link account to your LinkedIn” and login using your LinkedIn credentials. A popup notification should confirm that the accounts have been linked.

Step 3: Uploading Documents

Document Upload Section: Locate the section on Experience York titled “Documents”

Upload Documents

Choose relevant documents to upload, such as cover letters, resumes, transcripts, and application packages.
Click the view button to view any records of documents you have updated in the past and click the upload document button to upload a new file.

Note:

Regularly update new documents as your achievements and experiences evolve, or when you tailor your documents to apply for new positions. Having these versions on-hand will be useful for the future.

Students can sign up directly through Experience York for a wide range of workshops and webinars focused on:

LinkedIn profile optimization
Networking skills and professional communication

EUC-Specific Job Board

Our EUC exclusive job board to EUC students which is tailored to our wide base of students across the planning, EcoArts, sustainable management, geography, renewable energy and environmental science program streams.

Explore EUC’s job board to apply for relevant and meaningful volunteer opportunities, internships, part-time and full-time positions in green, net-zero, sustainability sectors. Students can also utilize the job board to learn more about the different types of jobs and industries they can work for after graduation.

Access EUC Tab from Dashboard

In the experience York portal, use the dashboard panel on the left to access the EUC tab. Under the EUC tab dropdown, click on ‘experiential education’.

Explore Available Opportunities

On the experiential education page, a subsection called “my opportunities” will be displayed. Click on the column labelled “available opportunities”. This is where job postings will be listed.
