Scholars Hub @ Home - Biodiversity: A tale of four bees

Bee Day

Earth’s systems are complex and dynamic due to biodiversity, the variety of life on our planet. In particular, flowering plants are critical to climate stability, the water cycle, and the provision of oxygen, food, fibre, and material for shelter. In order for flowering plants to reproduce effectively, we need pollinators.Join the executive research team from the Centre for Bee Ecology, Evolution and Conservation on World Bee Day as they discuss the most important pollinators on the planet. Discover the diverse range of behaviours and ecologies of these experts’ favorite bees and what they are doing to better understand their evolution and health.
