Description:

The Han Shan Sih Buddhist Society Bursary is an award intended to provide $2000 in financial aid to students entering their first year of the MES program of the Faculty of Environmental and Urban Change or $5000 financial aid for MES graduate students with a research focus in religious, spiritual or ethical issues.

Recipients must be Canadian citizens or permanent residents of Canada and Ontario residents.

Application Deadline is April 1.

Eligibility:
  • This award is open to graduate students enrolled in the Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change at York University.
  • Student must be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident and an Ontario resident.
Criteria:
  • Be a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
  • Be an Ontario resident.
  • Demonstrate financial need on a bursary application
How to apply:
  • Step 1: Complete the Faculty of Graduate Studies' Student Financial Profile (SFP)
  • Step 2: Complete the award application by April 1.
  • NB: If applying for the $5000 financial aid and research bursary, please prepare a statement on your research interest to upload within your application form.
