Description: The Jim MacNeill Award is named in honour of Jim NacNeill's outstanding contribution to promoting sustainable development. This award supports incoming MES/JD students in the Faculty of Environmental & Urban Change. The joint MES/JD (formerly known as the MES/LLB) program was established in 1974 to encourage the integration of these two critical fields: environmental studies and law.
Eligibility:
- Canadian citizens, permanent residents and/or protected persons who are residents of Ontario
- Selection criteria includes:
- Incoming MES/JD
- Academic accomplishments
- Statement of Research and CV (upon nomination students will be contacted by OSAS and asked to submit these documents)
- Financial need (upon nomination students will be contacted by OSAS and asked to complete the Student Financial Profile)
- The MES/JD Program Committee identifies eligible nominees each year in early Fall term and through the OSAS requests appropriate documentation. Click here for more information.
