The project implemented a complete and practical training and research platform for clean energy technologies where project partners adapted and demonstrated a clean Canadian technology in Algeria. The technology was related to the optimization of solar charging stations backed up with energy storage for elective vehicle transportation, efficient lighting and electric bikes. The project developed a modular platform that can be adapted to additional applications including digital displays, security systems and transportation fleets. The modular demonstration system was donated to the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Technologie (ENST) in Algeria for practical training and research purposes. Funding: Department of Foreign Affairs, Trade and Development (DFAIT) $25,000.
